IST’s LEDcure SCR is a newly designed retrofit system aimed at narrow web flexo and offset presses that fully addresses the needs of label and packaging printers who may be looking to transition into LED curing with a new or an existing press. This concept was designed by UV application experts with over 40 years of collective experience, installing and working with UV on narrow web presses spanning multiple print technologies.

IST’s ultra-long lifecycle platforms are ever present in the traditional UV arena (Lampcure)  and is now available in the company’s entire LED segment (LEDcure).

A smart, compact, modular, and high-performance platform in combination with robust engineering and construction, provides the user with maximum flexibility and versatility. The length of the system can be freely scaled (3.5 – 21.25″) and configured to suit all requirements of narrow web flexo and offset presses. LEDcure SCR Integration is simple and quick.

The new LEDcure is the latest element in the completely re-engineered range of LEDcure solutions supplied by IST in collaboration with its subsidiary, Integration Technology Ltd. (ITL). Increasingly, synergies between the two companies are having an impact – as an example, the XT8 Booster. This technology results in the LEDcure device providing up to 30% more output than other available LED systems, the company says.

IST’s new Xchange design concept allows simple and immediate onsite exchange of LED arrays, providing the ability to self-service the units resulting in maximum press uptime. Xchange makes the IST LEDcure SCR the most flexible and future-proof LED system on the market. In addition, it allows the versatility of mixed modes at different wavelengths, and thus a subsequent output upgrade.

The LEDcure SCR is supplied as a fully configured package including, cables, power supply, control and chiller, full light shielding and interlocking for total safety compliance. The system has been installed by IST factory certified service technicians.
